IT infrastructure in financial industry is always regarded as the vanguard of reforms. Under the guideline of the State Council, the Agricultural Development Bank of China implemented reform boldly in order to be a modern bank. The bank deployed AVCON Full HD Video Conferencing System, which was the first HD conferencing application in the largest scale in China. The adoption of the system would definitely reinforce their base to be a modern bank in the future.
As they did not have much experience on VC system, they decided to coordinate with AVCON in order to apply HD video conferencing system professionally. They anticipated the system could enhance working effectiveness and reduce operation cost. Indeed, staff was dispersed in the past because of the geographical barriers; however, they can now be connected through the system and it can optimize the human resources from the bank.

The Largest Application of Full HD Video Conference in China
The VC Project was conducted from February to April in 2008 and completed within three months. It had covered in headquarter and all branches in different provinces. The project included about 400 full HD video conferencing rooms with 450 VC desktop terminals. When it compared with other systems, AVCON was much more suitable for instant conference between multi-locations. And it had broken the largest record of AVCON VC applications from China Life.
Full HD Quality without Video and Audio Delay
The management teams from Agricultural Development Bank of China in 30 provinces and 20 counties gathered together and inaugurated AVCON system in 25 April 2008. During this event, AVCON showed its high compatibility as it integrated with VC product from other brand, and it also allowed users to participate in the conference via their laptops. They conducted live conversation with full HD video quality, which brought them a new landscape of detail and clarity for virtual meetings.
Mr. Lau, who is the Executive President of Agricultural Development Bank of China, mentioned, "The inauguration of VC system was an important event for our IT infrastructure, and a significant outcome of our IT development. It brought positive impact on office automation, enhanced working efficiency and increased effectiveness of our management. The investment we put in VC system was not much, but brought out outstanding effect. In fact, the expenses of management and operation would greatly be lessened after using VC system. We would easily connect to each others through the system as we would no longer have air and train travels for business trips. It did not only enhance working efficiency, but also save our time and money for our important stuff.
Other Executive President also praised that, "more than 400 branches around the country deployed the VC system and it only took 3 months to complete the whole project. We really admired for the working efficiency of AVCON and we must made good use of it!"
